Northcote has a funky new cafe and *drum roll* it serves !!breakfast gnocchi!! Field Black opened late last year on High Street, Northcote and prides itself on friendly service and warm hospitality to match its tasty menu.
We tried all the things, ordering;
The ricotta hotcake with blueberry and lemon, vanilla mascarpone whip, lemon curd, peanut brittle, and salted caramel popcorn
The housemade potato breakfast gnocchi with chorizo, roast peppers, tomato chilli beans, feta, and baby spinach
The pumpkin, chickpea and coriander fritters with beetroot hummus, pepitas, mint labneh, pumpkin chips and sumac salt
The passionfruit panna cotta with chef’s granola, organic white chocolate, and freeze dried raspberries
