We’ve just discovered this very cute taste of Europe in Sydney’s CBD. Jardin St James is located in the forecourt of St James Church (Sydney’s oldest church).
The venue has a French vibe too it, made all the more believable by the fact that you’re in a sunken, leafy courtyard. Scoot inside and you’ll find intriguing hallways winding their way through the underbelly of the church.
Jardin St James serves brekkie through to lunch Monday to Friday, and stays open for after work drinks and nibbles until 8pm on Fridays.
We celebrated our Friyay afternoon with an assortment of cold meats, cheese, dips, croquettes and bread, as well as some wine and bubbly.
