I like the great outdoors, but camping has never been my thang. This is largely due to the fact that I don’t think my body was designed for it – I have naturally curly hair, am prone to getting super burnt and am regularly targeted by mosquitos.
However, it turns out that glamping is TOTALLY something I can manage. Particularly when it’s in honour of Visit Victoria’s latest tourism campaign – Wander Victoria.
My gal pal Georgia (aka @georgeats) and I party rocked the night away at St Jerome’s the other night at the official launch of Wander Victoria. The aim of this campaign is to showcase regional Victoria and encourage Melbournians to venture out of the city and explore their (very beautiful) backyard.
We were part of a group of digital influencers chosen to explore and document our journey around regional Vic, with Georgia and my focus being on food. (It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it)
The results of our “investigation” will be coming in subsequent posts, but for now I need to showcase my newfound love of camping/glamping. Pics from the experience below, feat some really cool BREAKFAST THEMED nails from Trophy Wife Nail Art and an epic peanut butter dessert at Supernormal (where we shimmied off to for dinner before spending the night at St Jerome’s).
