As I write this, rain is POURING down outside. Combine this weather with a very competitive parking situation outside my building, and venturing out to address my hanger (a combo of hungry and angry, the latter being due to the former) doesn’t look very enticing.

I’m celebrating this milestone by ordering a heap of pizzas from one of my Melbourne faves – Wilo Pizzas.
- salmon pizza with creme fraiche, smoked salmon, onion, spring onion, capers, goats cheese, and mozzarella
- pesto lamb pizza with fresh basil pesto, semi dried tomato, tapenade, baby spinach, marinated lamb leg strips, feta and natural yoghurt
- pork belly pizza with chipotle sauce, braised pork belly, onion, coriander, salsa picada, tangy mayo, fresh chilli, and mozzarella
- healthy sweet potato pizza with a wholemeal spelt base, crushed tomato, roasted sweet potato, baby spinach, spring onion, roasted capsicum, gaucamole and mozzarella
All of these pizzas were divine, but a special mention is owed to the pesto lamb and the sweet potato pizzas – seriously delicious.
If pizza’s not your jam, there are also HEAPS of other options available. They have more than 7 500 restaurant partners Australia-wide and, while I won’t name all of them, a few notable faves include Sauced Pasta Bar, Italian Chef, Tequila Mexican Restaurant, and my favourite spot for a sanga – Subway.
I clearly have a soft spot for Italian, but with 130 cuisines on offer, the world is quite literally your oyster (or curry, or pasta, or kebab).
