Oh marketing, what a wonderful profession you are. I’m essentially Scoopon’s Food-Deal-Tester, aka #bestjobever.
This means that I get to go around and suss out the best foodie deals in Melbourne, and share them with you guys.
I’ve been visiting some seriously AMAZING venues recently, and checking out some massively #onpoint deals, so I thought it was only right that I share my faves.
- $5 for 2 Baos or 2 Soldiers from Rolld
Baos are seriously thebomb.com and any deal that involves them is likely to get my tick of approval. Rolld make a brill bao and a superb soldier (otherwise known as rice paper rolls) so it’s v exciting that this deal allows you to get two of either for a cheeky $5.
- Full Breakfast at the Historical Bank on Collins
This place is such a hidden gem! I’d never been before and was very impressed. On the topic of being impressed, they’re currently doing brekkie for two for $25. This includes a beverage each, a brekkie starter each AND a main each. Yes, you heard correctly – a starter and main for breakfast. Oh my days.
- Fine French-Vietnamese Fusion for Two at Cochin
Breakfast is obviously my main game, but a gal’s gotta eat dinner too. And when dinner could be a glass of wine for myself and a pal, four dishes to share and a dessert each for $65, then I’m totally about that.
- Brekkie, Brunch or Lunch at Holla
THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD YOU NEED TO GO! They do zucchini and mint doughnuts, I really really liked it, and you can get $50 to spend there for $25, or $100 to spend for $50. Nuff said.
- Chocolate Indulgence Platter at Chokolait
Wanna eat a plate full of chocolate while drinking a delicious drink and eyeing off the choccies you’ll be taking home to chow on later? Silly question. Course ya do. Chokolait are doing a spring indulgence platter for you and a pal, plus a drink each and some take-home choccies for $35.
I’ve thought about it, and I think that eating a chocolate platter with a friend is an investment in your happiness.
